im getting a dirty blonde... and after that, id be spending on an amp.
The Dirty Blonde is an awesome bass! I have one of those and love it as much as my Streamer Std. But in my case, they sound and feel night and day different: Thumb Dirty Blonde has Maple neck with Ash/Poplar body - very light and very traditional sounding. Nice old school slap tones! Add to that, mine was de-fretted and is a 4-string. My Streamer Std. is much closer to the standard Warwick growl, due to an Ovengkol neck with Ash/Bubinga body; not real heavy, but not as light as the Dirty Blonde. The other difference is my Streamer Std. is a 5-string fretted, and of course the bridges and pickup configurations...
IMHO, compared to the usual Streamer Std., the Dirty Blonde is a much better bass, but it will costs more and is a LTD. ED., so it justifies being better...
