Hey,

I'm new here, so I hope I'm posting this in the right category.

I'm aware this is a looong shot, but I figured I'd give it a try:

My dad bought a used Warwick Streamer in what he remembers to be 1995, from a music shop in Hamm, Germany. It was his all-time favorite bass.
In early 2000, he had to sell it due to financial reasons and sold it via eBay to someone in Hagen, Germany. Sometime between 2001 and 2005, he was on tour with German singer "Arne Kopfermann," and the band stayed overnight at someone's place in southern Germany. That person turned out to own what seemed to be his old bass — possibly having bought it from the person my dad originally sold it to, or possibly being that same original buyer, who may have since moved to southern Germany. My dad isn't 100% sure it was his exact bass, but he's fairly confident it was.

About the bass:

Warwick Streamer Stage I (4-string), neck-through, likely maple body/neck, likely wenge fretboard, gold hardware, natural finish, seemingly no fretboard inlays (all of the photos are of his exact bass)

The only reason I think there's a chance of finding it is the wood grain on the body directly below the pickups. It's pretty distinctive and should be a unique, recognizable pattern on this exact instrument.

I've also noticed the width of the four dark stripes in the body seems to vary between examples I've found online, possibly a running change between production years. On his bass, the two outer stripes are thinner than the inner two.

More than 25 years later, my dad still talks about this bass and deeply regrets having sold it.

If anyone has any clues about this bass, no matter how small, I'd truly appreciate the help!

Josiah

Immediately went ahead to check if it was my early 90s Warwick, but alas it's not the exact same one.
Good luck with the search.
