Hello from the Warwick NYC Custom Shop!

Every time I see a Dolphin NT I get GAS, the SN is nice, but a 4 string NT would be amazing. Course I've blown my bass budget for a couple of years.

Pardon me for butting in.
a 97 SS1 should have a maple neck,flamed maple body & wenge fingerboard.
I dont recall ever seeing an SS1 with an ovangkol or wenge neck.Streamer LX,yes,but not SS1.
It's also very possible you have a flamed maple neck.It's not uncommon.Can you post some pics?
 
Ya i took some 2day but im pretty sure its a tigerstripe ebony finger board. it's really hard to tell the neck wood b/c of the paint job but it does seem like a different wood

To see under the paint,unscrew the tail pice next time you change strings ;)

The Custom Shop is the greatest place ever! The people who work there are even better. I got to play my SSII 5 through the Hellborg system. I also got to play a Pnut III and the Stuart Zender signature.

I left my SSII 5 there so they can do a proper setup job on it. These guys really care about the instruments, but they also care about the players. If it's at all possible for you guys to get down there, do it! I traveled about 3 hours from Connecticut just to see the shop. It was well worth the trip.
 
Jack Bruce will be in town... I'll see if i can get him to swing by the shop... Jennifer Arroyo will be at the shop this week too!
 
Lmao! I always enjoyed her playing, ill have to check out the new enembles, and earn my "enthusiast" title. ;)
