Fretless side dot question - Fairly Urgent!

Hello all,

I'm about to buy a current Corvette Standard ash unlined fretless, but I can not find any info about the side dots!

Are the the side dots "on the fret" or between the same as a fretted bass?

It would have goddamned inconvenient if they would have been at the same place as the fretted.
 




Yeah. I bleeb NO maker is whacko enuf to
put them in the 'fretted bass positions' on
an UNLINED FL. With lined FLs, you would
find it both ways, and therein lies a whole
lotta controversy.

IIRC, the makers who use the same dots
for lined FLs as for fretted are usually [or
always?] the makers who do not offer an
unlined FL. This would be an obvious cost
saving [less variation in product set ups].

Great, good for you silddx! You're lovin' life! How long is the wait on that once you ordered it? Did they give you an estimated time of completion? Just curious...

Hello Mate,

Here she is a good workhorse fretless.

Ordered from them on Saturday, should be here in the UK by Friday.
 
Hey, I have a fretless bass. I cant play with others than mine, cause mine is like a fretted bass.
