    Fretless side dot question - Fairly Urgent!

    Hello all, I'm about to buy a current Corvette Standard ash unlined fretless, but I can not find any info about the side dots! Are the the side dots "on the fret" or between the same as a fretted bass?

    just a quick panic question, do the dot markers that indicate the fret's on the side of the neck come standard on all custom shop bass'es???? because i want them on my buzzard but did not say.

    I have a fretless Thumb bass with an unlined neck and the dot markers on the side of the neck are where the fret would be.
