Framus Bass Strings

Hey!

Anyone tried the Framus Bass Strings? They're SOOO cheap, like 7 Euros for a 4 string set. They're nickel. I want to buy a set, any good?
 
Are they still available? I've seen some online stores / shops that said that they are discontinued...

I have no idea how they sound and feel..................I have seen some ads of them a while back..................that's all.............. :roll:

I've bought a 5 string set for my Stage I, and mounted just few days ago... I like it! The string sounds deeps and brilliant, smooth at touch... and they're really cheap! Now I've ordered 2 5 strings sets and 2 6 strings set from SaitenKatalog, arrival forecast 2-3 days.

At Saitenkatalog they are a little bit more expensive than at other stores, but still cheap:
12.30 EU / 6 string
10.25 EU / 5 string
8.05 EU / 4 string
 
:shock: i think i'm gonna order a set just because of the price :lol: and the name sounds interesting :)

edit: just looked at shipping :( its 9 euros i may rethink..although thats still what like £13 mmm its tempting any one tried these on fretless basses?
 
If you order at SaitenKatalog more than 100 euros, you won't pay shipping costs. I've bought 5 sets of strings, some cables, some care product like Fast Fret... total amount just more than 100 euro.
 
I just purchased a set of those for my fretted 5string. of .45-.135. feels good, sounds good, especially when you look at the price tag. try them out. the only thing that might pose a problem is that the ball end is not tapered.
