Finally ! A Warwick of My own!!!

I once owned a Corvette Std. passive fretless and man that was a swet bass. I had to return it since I needed the money for a Thumb and had to kiis goodbye. I still go to GC and play it every once in a while since nobody in this town buys Wics due to all the country hip Fender fans around and fear of playing anything non-Fender.

I guess I will wait another 3 months, hopefully they will bring down the price so i can buy it again.
 
Sounds great. The F# has a nice stable ring to it. Congratulations.
 
What's impressive with the F# is that the 1st harmonic (the 12th fret harmonic) sounds almost the same as the open note. The fundamental F# is so low that it get completely burried by the 1st harmonic...

I find that "distinguishable" notes can be had down to the 3rd fret on the .175 string. The .135 B string is nice and meaty all the way down to B, which is nice...

I guess I have to tweak my settings and adjust both my playing and my hear to the low tones to get used to the F#...
 
speed up that riff at the end and i'll start singing "COME ON, COME OVER!!"

Sounding good too, that F# really is low isn't it!!

Oh no, no need to worry about the mockups, I did a few todays without letting go of my corvette...

I sit in front of the computer with my baby on my lap, since my amp is software only...

oh man.. those low notes got my whole house rattling! seriously! good on you Patrick for finally owning a Warwick after being wickless for so long!
Anyway i just collected my Rockbass from the shop after having it defretted so i guess i'm joining the fretless club. Pics and clips up soon!
