Well, the brown truck delivered a nice big box to my office yesterday, and, hidden inside, well packed inside it's gig bag, way my now brand new, but old Warwick! :)

It's a 1996 Corvette Standard, with passive elctronics, a brass nut, and a Wenge neck... :D

And it's a fretless!!

After I took those pictures I put a set of Dark lord strings on her.... Lovely !

:)

For all of those who donated to my tip jar, and who will donate in the future, the money will go towards paying this lady. Already the tip jar has allowed me to pay for about 25% of the cost of this instrument, so a big huge thank you goes to all who contributed!

Other pictures will come, but I guess that for now i'll spend a lot of time playing, she's so fun! :)

Aaah... fretless!

That's one more of US, and one less of THEM
(Only joking, fretted guys!)

Nice to see you're fixed up with a very nice Warwick, Jan!

great one.
don't fully understand this sub-bass stuff - but it's yours, mate ;)

how's the fretless sound of the darklord strings?

After all you've done for the community... Welcome to the W family !

Or should we call it the "Wamily" !

Congratulations mate, what an amazing bass!

You didn't have a wick before??????

Congratulations Jan! I am very happy for you. I want to hear a sound clip or two of this with the Darklord strings when you get a chance.

a fretless with a low F#?

that sounds like some serious fun.

love those fretless vette's.

Congratulations Jan !!! :D

A very fine instrument indeed. I'm really happy you've got a Warwick now. Pure Bubinga pwnage alright !!!

wow! glad to hear that jan!

after all this time you finally have a wick!

now all you have to do is find a band to kikc a** with it! or do you already have one?

Congrats! I love the 'vettes in all of their cofigurations. This fretless is amazing!. The 'vette body style to me, is visually, the perfect design Great bass!

SWEET! My first 'Wick was a Corvette Std. fretless, and as you've discovered, it is very fun and impossible to put down... until you buy your next one, or five, like I did!

That's a beautiful bass Patrick! The older vettes have a slightly different body shape, I love it! In 1995 I bought my first Warwick - a corvette proline, so this baby is bringing me good memories :-)
