Hi there,
The seller states that it has a 14cm crack in the neck and some
considerable dings.

he says, it's used, but technically in a flawless condition.
it has the usual dings and dongs, and a crack on the neck, that one can see on the 2nd photo.
the crack goes lengthways on the neck and is about 5.5 inches long (and didn't crack more since then).
and then he's talking about another crack that's also on the neck, just next to the bridge (i think he wanted to say "nut") and another one on the bottom side of the neck (what ever that is). but you can see the cracks on the photos he says.
then, you'll also get a 4stage strap and the corresponding strap pins.
the strap pin on the horn has no "detent" (in german: arretierung), the other pin is ok.
then, you also get a warwick rockbag, which is ok, except for the fact that one carabiner is missing (so you can't use the straps to put it on your back).
then, he is talking about the facts of the bass: woods and stuff like that.
at the end, he says the standard stuff, like no guarantee and stuff like that.
in the next sentence, he says: when i'm saying, that it is functioning, then it really IS functioning !

yes i was wondering too with the two other cracks...
i am/was quite interessted but after seeing what he wrote and how he kept it (in a bag and all the cracks)...
such great basses those early thumbs! got dot-inlays but i would still be lucky with it...
