classic jazz and funk bolt on corvette

there are 3 possibilities

ash vette, maple neck, maple fb, passive JJ pups (barts)
ash/maple top vette, maple neck, maple fb, passive JJ MEC's
maple vette, maple neck, maple fb, passive JJ MEC's

or

ash vette, maple neck, maple fb, passive PJ pups MEC's

but i think the first one is the best one ..

I agree. The first one would be awesome. Perhaps matching headstock as Jan suggested?

a bit expensive the headstock (but looks good and i never saw a swamp ash head) :lol:
 
we are still working on the classic vette! i think it will be a 2 piece ash body, maple neck, maple FB, v v t knob config, and front dots. i wanted a tabacco finish to make a contrast but changed my mind i think, i have to see a natural satin finish first because i liked better the look of the precision vette.

pups will be the passive J's. i wanted the bartolinis but i think i'll keep the MEC's and try later the barts to have them both at home.

i really don't know what color to put on this bass .. i wanted a vintage cream but i have to wait for the bass maybe twice the time :lol: :lol: sunbust? i don't know yet .. the simple natural one seems to be ok for now .. but i'll see the mockups soon
