I know I answered you last week, but just an update:

There is yet another $$ on clearance at the local GC
for the price I paid for both my $$s ... $1100 [each].
And BTW, I noticed that even the nonclearance price
is NOT $1700. It's $1500. Just sayin.

I own a natural 4 string streamer $$ and I LOVE the sound. I again I didn't really like the sound of the warwick strings so I put on some rotosound medium nickels.
after thy break in they really sing.
Aswell as the enkanga veneer the streamer also features a 3 laminate Flame maple neck which IMHO contributes hugely to the sound of the Streamer $$. It is a truly unique sound more like a fender than your typical warwick as almost every other warwick has ovankgol as neck wood. But my streamer still growls though!
I very rarely use the preamp as I love the natural sound ofthe bass. it is a very responsive bass because if i want more bass i just use more of my finger pad and play closer up the neck. Keeping this one forever!

I agree with krzysztof, this bass is really worth its money (like all Warwick basses).
