I'm glad this is being resolved. I saw Jake's post on basschat. A gutsy thing to do, considering half the net is out to get him!

I've also got to add that you're a truly stand up guy Reuel in the way that you've handled this fiasco. Your maturity, patience, and now forgiveness is to be commended in my opinion. When people get screwed their true character often shines through, and yours has indeed shown that it's excellent.

I'm really surprise at how well the bass community acted as a whole in fixing this.

I wonder if the guitar community would do the same... hmmm...

man, you're wayyy too nice for me. If I were you, I would have let the police do their job and court and everything that could ever piss him off just a little. Oh well, I think you're a better dude than me :P
 
At last.

Jake's apology cuts no ice with me - sorry but he only came clean once the police were involved.

Anyway, the best resolution is going to happen here - Reuel is getting his Vampyre :P - and we all know that it was the bass he wanted more than the money back. I hope the bass is worth all this hassle - it looks a beauty by the way.

I look forward to the happy news that you have a new Warwick in the family.
 
Congrats, Reuel! I read through all those posts and holy frijoles! Although I do think it's rather shi**y that this little snake only came forward when his nuts were in the vice of the law, I'm VERY glad that you're gonna get hooked up the way you should have in the first place a long time ago. The response you have gotten is further proof of the strength of the BASS BROTHERHOOD!!!
 
As others have pointed out, I too am very proud of how the bass communities have stood up and put pressure to bare in defense of one of our own. I am really proud of our UK brothers who were able to put pressure on Jake in a more local fashion (closer to home). I've always known that bass players were the coolest people on the planet, but the way they banned together to support IncX has really warmed my heart and given me that warm fuzzy feeling all over. Way to go Bros!

Incx, I'm polishing my dancing shoes, so let us know when your bass arrives so I can dance that proverbial jig for ya. and if you ever had a doubt, as others have said, the way you handled yourself in this matter proves your character and shows you are a very good man indeed.
