Bass Central is the way to go for a custom order IMO...
 
They could, but Jay is right... BC is much better to deal with! And, if you live outside Florida, you don't pay tax on it.
 
Kudos to Bass Central. They have some really great gear, and the customer service is unbelievable.

You should definitely ask BC to beat the price. The service you'll get is well worth it.

Jay, the new 'Vette is awesome! It's heavy, and the hardwoods compress the sound a lot so it doesn't have the natural low end "thump" like the Thumb bass does and the jazz pickups give it a very clean sound, but with the piezo pickup in the mix it adds some nice growl. The piezo by itself actually sounds better than the jazz pickups by themselves... !
 
well, the piezo picks up the pure vibration of the string and really excludes the sound of wood but of course, the mix is a great way to go. / mats
