Just slightly... It's not like i'm changing the body wood... Just the fretboard.
 
Sounds like a beautiful bass... and It's definitely better with black hardware.IMHO

The ebony fretboard will be a perfect match... all blue and black;)

If I was a touring musician with dozens of basses, I'd definitely have a green one... And a purple one... and an orange one....

@Sam: I already had a blue one, but I loved the looks of it ! The sound and comfort weren't to my taste, but I loved the blue finish. So this one deserves the same finish. And amongst the coloured oil finish available, it's one of my fav. I Like antique tobacco and honey violin, but I'm not sure I'd like a bass with these finishes.

@Bojan: yeah I'm crazy, but whatever... In 2012 we're all dead anyway ! Haha

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad maaaaaaaaaaaan. But like I said before, I can understand it and I'm looking forward to see this bass - and hear it being played.
(Nevertheless: I'm GAS free for 3 months!!!!! It's possible!!!!!)

I believe the twin jazz is a better choice because it will perform like the MM humbucker, with the added advantage of single coil.

I recon greg is on the money here, i love may Jazzman, i would get rid of my left foot before i get rid of that bass but i have often thought it would go from good to increadible with a TJ instead of the MM....only prob is the routing wont work to swap them out....but with a CS....

What is so extraordinary about it? It's almost a stock model... I sold my LX6 and with the exact money i sold it, i can get a bass that should suit me better than the 6 string. It's not like i'm getting a heavily customized bass... Just a "simple" Warwick.
