Hi! Just bought a used WCA-410-4 PRO (with big W) on grill to partner my Aguilar TH350 (is there a growlier/thicker tone Warwick amp?) and it sounds mucb warmer and wider than my 1x10 elf .. its a keeper! Inner brace was loose so I tapped in a few wood screws and its good to go.
Does anyone...
I have been looking for a small portable rig for a while, and now have a Markbass TA503 as the head, but am looking for a cab to go with it. I also have the components for a 1x15 can lying around (Emminence PS-15CV speaker, plus the crossover and tweeter from an ol Carvin quad box). The speaker...
Hi,
I have a problem.. One of four speakers is damaged.. I want buy a new one. But I dont know the type of speakers. I know only the name of brand - Eminence.
Can you help me?
thx a lot
ok, I was thinking about this while I was bored in math class.
How do speakers (just a single 10 inch speaker) create multiple tones.
For example, The guitar is playing at 5000 hz and the bass is playing at 50 hz.
How does this work? How can one speaker vibrate at two different rates...
I have two big 300W speakers that are VERY loud I was wondering if it was possible to adjust them to XLR inputs, or whatever outputs a PA system uses (I've never used one, but my small band is aiming to nab one)
Is it possible? I also have two 200W speakers that are nice too, but the 300W...
when you play live for a crowd of 300, which would make you sound better:
playing thru a warwick xtreme 5.1 on 4x10 speakers
or
playing thru a warwick combo amp backed up by say a bose or JBL system?
What is the difference between Neodymium and normal speakers? are they better? (the neo ones)
what would be the best option for jamming with a drummer and sometimes with a guitarist too:
WARWICK PROFET 3.2 and WARWICK WCA 411 PRO
or
WARWICK WCA 411 PRO and WARWICK W410PRO
or
WARWICK...
is it possible to plug in an extra cab(s) to increase the volume of the Sweet 25.2, but be able to still use the Sweet's built-in speaker? or does connecting a separate cabinet override the built-in speaker?
thanks
Hey guys!
I've recently won a brand new Warwick stack, consisting of a Tubepath 10.1, a 411 pro and a 115 pro.
Because there is only one speakon-connector in the back, I have to run the 115 through the 411..but I'm not sure which connectors on the speakers I have to use and if it makes...
Just out of curiosity:
Would replacing a stock speaker from a 75w combo amp with one that's rated for 100w give you more control over the volume coming out of your amp? What I mean is this, a 75w amp connected to a 75w speaker is pushing out 75w.... we all know that most combos can't reach...
hey!
i got a question: does anybody know the german brand house of speakers? how do their boxes sound? Because i would be really interested in this Medium stack:
anybody has had experience with house of speakers? thanks
Yours, marc
My band is looking to purchase a PA system so that we can have something available for our smaller/private gigs and we are up in the air for a PA system. To note ahead of time - we aren't looking to spend a crazy amount of cash, we would like the entire system to be as lightweight as possible...
Is it a good idea to have all the same type speakers in a cab?? I'm thinking of replacing 2 of 4 of my 10's, but I'm not so sure. The overall impedance of the cab wouldn't change, but it's the differing drivers is what I'm wondering about.
MY QUESTION IS:
If I would buy an 500 W amp [head], I will must have 1000 W speakers? Someone told me that the speakers always must be twice bigger in W than the amp. Is this a correct information?
Thank you!
Any particular speaker brands recommended?? I've loved the Eminence I've played through at the local shop, and they are easily available as replacements. I'm going to swap out my behringer cab for new speakers in the near future. I'm sick of playing through my little practice amp.
