    No fingerrest on Rockbass Aliens?

I hope Warwick will fix it as soon as possible. You can put no fingerrest on a bass with magnetic PU's, but with all-piezo Alien that most likely results in a barely playable bass.

    Two piece bridge on rockbass?

Been playing on my Vampyre for about two years now and I love it!:d Right now it has warwick's one piece bridge. I wonder if it's possible to replace it with the two piece brigde, like on new models?

    Rockbass Corvette $$ 5 string 2010

This is kind if a double post but I figured I'd start it as it's own thread so it would be easy for others to find. Rockbass Corvette $$ 5 string 2010 Plays nice and smooth. The neck is not much wider than my Stingray 4 string but the string spacing still doesn't seem cramped like on my old...

Difference between Warwick & Rockbass finish?

What's the difference between the warwick 'vette $$'s finish and the rockbass 'vette $$'s finish? The warwick is US swamp ash and on the rockbass it just says swamp ash. The warwick looks smoother, is it just the wood or has the grain been filled or what? Rockbass is on the left, Warwick on...

    Corvette FNA to Streamer Rockbass

I recently purchased a Streamer 5 string Rockbass (New) from Dana B. Goods. I currently own a German made Corvette FNA 4 string (which I purchased New in 1999/2000 area). My German made Warwick plays like no other bass in this world, even my friend who owns and plays ZON said theirs something...

My Rockbass sounds better than my Wick

You may have read in another section that I bought a Rockbass Vampyre. I played it with my band last night, well half the band. Competing with a drummer and one guitarist, it performed very well. The first thing my drummer noticed was how much bite there was in the sound. My guitarist...

    I got the Rockbass Vampyre

I found this on Ebay and got it for £160. It's the 24 fret access that I wanted and I already knew that Rockbass stuff is of very good quality any way. I've had a play and it feels very nice though the lacquer will be coming off the neck some time soon. I've put EMP's on and adjusted the truss...

    Seriously considering the Vampyre Rockbass

I currently have myself a $$ Corvette, Yamaha BB714BS, X-treme 10.1 with two neo 411's. Am I right in thinking that the Vampyre will have a tighter sound than my $$? Also I want 24 fret access which to be honest the Corvette's don't give. What other basses are available with 24 fret...

Warwick Rockbass STD 5 ---> Problems with Action/Neck

Hello everyone I been playing guitar for many years and started to produce music 3 years ago. I was just tired of playing my bass with a MIDI keyboard from a sample based library and I really wasn't inspired since im not a good piano player. Coming up with new basslines is much easier on a real...

Carolena Wood - a wind up

As a Warwick and Rockbass owner and lover of all types of wood used in guitar building, I thought I'd find out more about this Carolena wood that my Rockbass is made from. Ignoring mentions of Carolena wood in Warwick forums and in adverts for Rockbasses, the only mention I find of it is for...

    Warwick frets on RockBass

I 'm thinkin' about replacing the frets on my RB 'vette with a set of Warwick frets available through the web shop. Will they match? Are there any fret tang width or radius issues? Of course an experienced luthier will do this.

    Rockbass "quality test"

One of Russian WW enthusiasts made a quality test on his RockBass. He didn't mind if I post his photos, so... The test: The result: The bass remained in perfect working condition. So, RB's are as sturdy as German WW's are.

    RockBass Renamed ?

Just browsing my junk mail from GC and I notice "Warwicks" referred to as "Basic" but no mention of "RockBass". They have maple necks, the 2-piece bridge upgrade and decidedly RockBassesque pricing. Is there an 'Amen' chorus ?

    Scratchy Pot on RockBass

I own a Corvette RockBass which I love. I have an issue with the blend knob. Whenever i turn it, it crackles through the amp. I've heard that you can spray the pot with something. I'm not sure what though. Would anyone know what this spray stuff is called? or if theres any other solution to...
