I 'm thinkin' about replacing the frets on my RB 'vette with a set of Warwick frets available through the web shop.
Will they match? Are there any fret tang width or radius issues? Of course an experienced luthier will do this.

I cant see it being an issue, as rockbass use the same neck dimensions as a german wick.

Hey Yanni, I don't think it will be a problem for a luthier, don't worry :-)

If you do it let us know how it turns out. Sounds like a great, fairly straightforward, upgrade.

Yeah it should be an improvement. The slap sound on my RB is not nearly as meaty as my Streamer, this is very evident when unplugged. Both basses have maple necks, both necks are very thick, the main difference is rosewood vs wenge fingerboard and the bell brass frets. I am almost certain the frets play a great role in this...

Definately. In my opinion they player bigger role then fretboard wood.
