I know they have changed the standard neck profile in the latest Wicks to hit Oz ( so probably the 09 release onwards) but I am wondering which profile is which.
Is the current standard the old slim profile? and is the current fatneck the old standard? Or have i got it all ass-backwards...
I don't know if this has been discussed before, but, I think this should be added to the custom options. Everytime I've played a an instrument with a asymmetrical neck, it was sooo much fun to play! (especially the old tobias basses). What do you guys think?
I'm new here so please bear with my ignorance.
I've been playing primarily jazz style basses for over 30 years. I'm getting ready to buy my first Warwick 4 string. I've heard so many good things about them! I know I'm going with a neck-thru, but I don't know which Warwicks have thin 1 1/2" nut...
Yo! Just thought i would share that my endorser profile is now online on Warwick.de! It's currently only in German, but will be in english soon!
On top of that, my CS SSI ships from Germany tomorrow!!!! It's a good day, a very good day!

Just got a response from the custom shop telling me that a short scale neck is not possible with the new neck profile option.Someone have to choose between the shorter scale and the flatneck option on a 34" scale. Why ?

Why not tell Warwick what we like?
Hi everyone. Since this is my first post on this forum I should introduce myself first. My name is Filip, 18 years old, and I'm from a small town of Paracin in Serbia. Still not a proud Warwick owner (only Yamaha RBX 760A for now), but hopefully that will change soon.
Anyway, I asked for a...
Hi,
This is my first post on the forum. Wonderful resource for those who are warwick enthusists worldwide.
Just a question i have for those who has or own a Warwick Jazzman 5 2004 Ltd. Is the neck profile of these basses slimmer then the conventional Warwick Jazzman 5? I've heard...
There's been a lot of discussion in different bass forums about newer D-shaped necks vs older warwicks with a C-shape all-wenge neck. The custom shop can offer an all-wenge neck, but can someone order a bass with the older "slimmer" neck profile?
Anyone have any input to the change in neck with the warwick basses.

Note the added support
I have am investigating purchasing a neck through from 1995 which doesn't appear to have this support. It also has the first iteration of the adjustable nut.
Thoughts? Concerns?
