If Warwick only made 250 of them, why does the one Im purchasing have the limited edition plate that says "3/308"? Is there a reason for this that I dont know about?

Does anyone out there play a Bleached Blonde or a GC 37th Anniversary Edition Bass. I have both models and I use the Bleached Blonde more because it seems to cut trhu the mix a lot better.
