Well, we had the gig and it was AWESOME 
With a few technical problems :lol:
-the Trace Elliot bass amp that the local PA/backline rental guys brought us didn't work, good thing we had my cheap chinese Ashdown bassrig in our van outside the venue, having shot a video the day before
-two speakers of the Marshall cab that was given to our guitarist were not working
-faulty DI box given to our singer for his acoustic guitar
We were lucky that we sorted these out during the soundcheck but then our keyboard player's Kurzweil died at the beginning of the first song, and even though he managed to resuscitate it at one point, he had problems with it all through the gig, our guitarist luckily took over his solo parts.
Other than these minor setbacks :lol: we had a good show, the audience seemed to dig it
Slash and Co. were ABSOLUTELY GREAT, uberpro performance, great playing, they were all over the stage and Myles Kennedy was in top form, one of the most engaging shows I've been to
Unfortunately we didn't get to hang out with the guys, they were on a hit and run schedule, which is understandable for acts of their caliber.

notice the plush Eeyore on the amp, I call him Funkey Donkey, he comes with me to every gig. Girlfriend related, don't ask why :roll:

All in all, despite tech problems, it was one GREAT EXPERIENCE! would do it again in a heartbeat

Wow, great news everything worked out. I would have been going quietly psycho if all that happened at a big event. I'm sure somewhere during the performance my mind would have went blank and I would be hunting where my next progression was. Hahaha.

yep, zee ghost of zee communism still haunts that building and the whole country for that matter.
Seated audience and tech problems aside, it was a great gig!
