Wood question

I really like this wood and finish on this MTD 535

Does anyone know if its available in Custom Shop?

I think its called Myrtle-Burl with a blue burst stain.
 
That's a spectacular looking wood there Ben.I love it.I'm pretty sure it is available from the CS but if you go to the woods page of the CS options list,all the woods are listed there.

It looks even better then I imagined.
Nice. Very Nice.
 
At the moment, this wood is not available in the Custom Shop. But you have to know that we always try to diversify more and more our exotics wood stock for the Custom Shop...

this bass is not natural oil like it says is it????

It's high polish natural...

yeah im talking about ollies, it says on the CS page its natural oil, but that looks very high polish to me. amazing bass tho.

Ollies Infinity is natual oil with a high polish clear coat coz it's a buck-eye burl top which is very soft & needs protection.
 
Good job Ben. The bass looks really alien like. Hmmm, I also thought that Oliver's Infinity has a high polish finish. Just look at the picture of the Wenge neck........ :roll:
