What kind of bass?

and holy crap i'm a dumb ass, i didn't even scroll to the last picture to read what the name plate said, oops

When I saw the Washburn thing,I instantly thought it was gonna be one of those repulsive rip offs that Washburn have done,or was that Dean?
The Pro M was produced in the 90's,I'm not sure of the aproximate period. They're wenge/wenge necked, flamed maple bodied with twin J pickups with some interesting electronics. Each coil has it's own preamp.
If you listen to Seth Horan's older work, this is the bass he used.
To my ears they're in a similar sonic ballpark as the Streamer LX or the Forttress that has similar pickup position.I forget which model it's called.:x
I think $1200 might be a bit steep btw.;)

** as for the you being a dumb ass?I thought I told ya that ALL the time mate.jk.

If you do a search on the forum, you'll find enough info on that bass Kyle. The search function is working so good.

I think the seller aint sure what the W on the head means, guessing either Warwick or Washburn.

when I started being a Warwick fan (which is about 1998), the Pro M's were still being made. As well as the Fortress Masterman - that's the name of that model, I believe. I really loved them, the flamed maple bodies of Pro M's, LX's and Corvette Prolines was the main thing that attracted me to Warwicks.

Hay!!!Long time-no post martin.Good to see you back mate.:)

Yea, I think the seller doesn't have a clue, too bad he's not as ignorant when it comes to pricing.

Price sucks.

I felt the same way Greg did, thought it was gonna be one of thr Taurus basses. Which, btw are GREAT basses for the money.

If you like mediocracy. No, seriously, who makes a bass that has elongated jazz pickups so you can't swap them out?

Turds.

I'm really glad I'm back. I've been through some bad times since last xmas, but everything seems to get better now. I'll be a Warwick owner again soon, so it can't be that bad :)

I am happy everything is fine now, man. It is nice to see you again with us.
