its a corvette with a $$ pickup, but its not a $$...??

Greg hit it on the head.

Here's an old topic from TalkBass.

That was cool.... Until he started slapping.

Completely ruined it.

first there was FNA (humbucker) and then FNA Jazzman ($ and J).

You said it was a Corvette with the $$(double buck) pickup. Technically it would be a Corvette with a $(single buck) pickup.

by $$ he meant humbucker and he then noted the lack of the second humbucker. He was just puzzled to see one humbucker and wanted to know the name of the bass model.

yikes! that was a bit hard to listen to...

but ok... the clip is about the bass and not about the guy's playing :)

Im going to take a guess here. Do you like Mudvayne Tyler??

I used to be a HUGE Mudvayne fan, I dedicated myself to becoming Ryan Martinie, I mastered the L.D.5.0 Album, note from note... Time when on, I realized my playing style is completely different from Martinie's.

Developed my own chops, and tastes for music.

I don't really listen to Mudvayne much anymore.

Hell Yeah, on the other hand, hell, I'm a shit kickin' hellbilly so yeah, I dig that music.

and HankIII, and one of the most amazing stand up bassists Joe Buck, as well!

im working on learning some of the songs on L.D. 50, specifically, Death Blooms, Dig, maybe, Internal Primates Forever

That middle section was awesome but the intro and outro weren't really in time.

The other stuff he does has some really cool hiphop influenced stuff, but lots are hit and miss improves. Very nice tone though!

Some people just don't need to post videos of them self playing. :x
