What do you take to your shows?

I like gigging, but only once or twice a month, That's plenty for me. I have a full time job/family...

Depending on the show and band..

Main gig - 4x10, 2x10, 6U Rack - Power, Pre, Korg Tuner.

Other gigs - 2x12 or 1x12/2x10, The Rack.

Then the Fortress gets used the most and either a Jazz or a P.

Bag full of goodies - cables, instrument leads, spare strap, mic lead, power chords/ power board / extension cord, screw drivers of varying size and shape, file, allen keys, batteries, pocket knife, small tuner, strings, InEars and all the stuff that goes along with that and a couple of effects in there too. Band file and spare paper/pen for quick songs.

Before I came to NYC I was playing 2 - 3 a week; was great fun.

I take my Thumb and my Yamaha as a backup. I always take extra cables and batteries. I have a rack mounted RT 1000 Fender tuner, DBX 160 A compressor/limiter, and Tubepath 5.1 and an extra pedal for mute tuning, all of which i always have with me. Sometimes I take my cabinets with me, but I usually have cabinets waiting for me at the venue. I almost forgot I ALWAYS have a towel, It's darn hot under those lights!!!!!

Indeed. Or maybed play live 2-3 times a week and do studio work the other 4 days :roll: You may say I'm a dreamer.. :wink:

I'm happy I started this thread... Because I totally forgot to bring extra batterys to my shows, And one of the posts reminded me that I should

Along with extra earplugs, Strings, And an extra strap
