What do you look like?

Nope, Farthest in the cart with a Ohio State coat is Noah (7), we adopted him in 2000. Then comes Quin we adopted him out of foster care when he was 3 in 2004. And of course the super genius Grace, we adopted her in 2002.
My little slice of heaven. :)

Gorgeous kids mate! Wich one likes to play with the bass? be sure to make a bass player out of him

hey guys, this is me... Adrian :)

playing cello from 16 years , I guess. I'm 25 now. In 2004 i picked up the bass guitar..

flying my paraglider... a sport I love so much, but unfortunately earlier this year I had an accident witch almost made me unable to play music again... I survived though, and after this summer/autumn tours, in winter, I hope I can fly again. I don't want to quit... but everyone is pushing me to..

I've met with Florin and he gave me a set of strings and said: "If you keep flying, those strings can last you a lifetime"

this is a close-up from an official photo session with my band...

Good stuff man...

hey precision, sdo you mind if i asked what happened with the paraglider?

i hope you make a full recovery mate and get back to what you love doing.

Precision... call me risk-averse, but you do NOT want to be doing stuff like paragliding.... we already have a tenuous-enough grip on our mortal coil without doing stuff like that!

Get your adrenhalin on the stage... pumping out serious grooves!

theres something about flying that is special, something that even warwicks and stages cannot replace :D you only get to live once

I begun flying at the age of 13. It was love at first flight! In 98 i bought my own equipment and started to fly very often. I 2000 at the age of 18 I was already flying on mountain sites, very high altitudes...

In 9 years of constant flying I've never had any problem, accident or bad stuff. In return, I received a great feeling of satisfaction, a lot of amazing friends, unique sensations and pleasure.

Since I can remember me, I had only two dreams: to play music and fly. I've managed to do both very good until this year, on third of march, when I went to a very small hill near bucharest for practicing ground handling. It was a routine day, the wind was strong, and the temperatures were quite high for this time of year.
I was unlucky! Really! I was somehow picked up by a dust-devil (a small but very powerful dust tornado
- )

. i was instantly dragged on the ground with an amazing speed, and somewhere ahead of me I saw the land starting to rise in very small steps... being dragged, I hit the first step (it was about 40 cm high!!!!!!) with the left side of my body... the pain came instantly and my breath was blocked for a few seconds. Right after the impact the glider fell on the ground, my colleagues jumped on me to avoid another drag... all this happened in max 5-6 seconds, and i covered a distance ~ 30 m.

I was unable to move my left arm, the pain was focused on my shoulder. I've checked my legs and my toes to see if I can move them, so I presumed that my spine was alright. my left side of torso and my left leg were also damaged on impact. In hospital on x-rays It appeared that I have only 2 small fractures on some bones in my left shoulder, the torso was ok...

This accident came with a very bad timing! My band activities on march were halted, and all the preparations for release of our new album were delayed.
Looking back, I consider myself lucky, because i was very close to a full fractured torso. After a month, I released my hand and returned slowly to work. I made a custom strap, very wide from a very thick leather to better dispose the weight of my bass.
It feels very weird to know I crashed in front of a 30 m hill after all the amazing flights I've made in very difficult conditions at over 3000 m.

Well, now i plan to return to paragliding somewhere in winter, then the weather is very calm and I can re-start flying in maximum safety conditions. You can see some photos and movies of my flying group on www.parateam.ro

This is the only place where I wrote this story... I already forgot about it until now. :)

Cheers guys! I hope to come next time with happier stories! :)

Wow, just looking at the photo feels like I got kicked in the fellas! I could never do that and please be carefull!

Hey, I see me down there going to a gig in Brasov. I think the roads down there are more dangerous than the flying...

Must be great,

flying high, and shouting: "WARWICK RUUUUUUUUUULESSSSS !!!!!"

hmmm... interesting idea... I should tatoo my glider with a big W, this way she'll know that after the flight I must return in one piece to my bass

You should get a one piece NT bass, maybe she will get the idea better ...

it was the same for me. since i was 7 or 8 all i ever wanted to do was fly for a living (the RAF to be more specific). then music started to become just as important and i had to make the decision between attempting to fly for a living or being a musician. i decided to follow the musical path

however doing something like paragliding might be a good way of doing the other thing i love whilst still being able to do my music. i'll just have to hope that in a few years this becomes possible :)
