Looking back I can see why I was picked out of the police identification line-up.

However, it does seem a bit unfair that the others were obviously from another planet!

that's actually high praise, since, on the one hand, I was a theater (amateur....) actor for a number of years, and it's always nice to see that I can convey stuff like that with just my face, and on the other hand both images are self-portraits, so as a photographer it's nice to see that I can properly set a mood! :)

The price of Single malt whiskey (a weakness of mine - I adore the stuff!) means that it is generally not the kind of thing you actually get drunk on all that often! Bring on the Cane and coke!

Jan, you got a fave bottle? I picked up some amazing Bushmills 15yr old Single as a gift from a band I helped out with some recording shite a whilst back - truly the smoothest, most subtly wonderful thing you could ever hope to put in your mouth! ;)

i've got my little spirit stash next to my little peavy amp; whisky, coconut malibu and amaretto (the best tasting stuff in the world )

I'm just getting started on discovering single malts, but i've discovered at least that I prefer bottles of more than 12 years... It's a good thing that those can be had for around 30 euros in this neck of the woods...
 
aaah. ! then i highly recommend you try Oban and Talisker! my old man is somewhat of a whisky nut and always keep a pretty nice and broad selection of single malts available. and the above mentioned have really stuck with me after having tasted through quite a few different sorts. Talisker especially.
 
I'm not a whiskey person... patooey, fire water (wine is my poison) but a friend forced :twisted: a Talisker on me a few weeks back... oh my that was nice!

That's one of my favourites along with another excellent highland: Dalmore

Also enjoy the Islay smokey ones like Lagavulin.
 
Ahh, single malts... Keep going back to Ardbeg, Cragganmore and when I feel a bit of a sissy, Bushmill which is a nice change of pace.

But those first too, I keep going back to them. The others are too peaty for my taste buds (Talisker, Lagavulin, Laphroaig), but I don't mind them if it's on offer!
