There's something for everyone in a Steely Dan song, but check this bassline. I. tempted to steal it, or at least borrow part of it!

 
So I'm listening to this as I type-- the guitarist (Reeves Gabriel, I think) looks like an extra from one 0f Clive Barker's Hellraiser films.

 
Writing and needed a soundtrack.....and the mongoose building looks kind of like a fretless bass...

Two things lately. First the new album by our friend Laszlo, his Absurdcus project



The second is a bass player I recently stumbled upon - Fernando Molinari. Kinda crazy, maybe a bit too much sometimes, but I really like it.

Badass. I remember Laszlo's first clip posts in this forum, he was truly impressive from the start. Great creative power.
 
He is tremendous. I listen to his albums a lot, soooo much talent
