What are you listening to..ATM?

Musician friend of mine just informed me that this guy, Alan Merrill, another bassist and songwriter recently died of coranvirus. Can't I say was ever a fan, but he was a co-writer and the original singer of I Love Rock and Roll with his band The Arrows. He later went on to work with Rick Derringer and Cozy Powell, among others. Here's a question, what kind of bass is he playing in the video below?

Not a Gibson G3, Grabber, Ripper... that upper horn is too long and it lacks das booty :D, I think it's a guild B301 or B302.

Man, that's some grainy footage. Possibly a Gibson Ripper?

I agree. It looks like a Ripper to me too. Check out the headstock, pick guard and bridge. I almost bought one just like it when I was a kid, but I opted for the StingRay instead.

Oh, yes... Igorrr. I knew about them a couple of weeks ago because a singer friend of mine sent me some videos. Cool stuff here.

I've been listening to Saint Agnes for two weeks...you could say I'd found my new favorite band.
