What are you listening to..ATM?

A friend of mine loaned me an 8 track cassette of this when we were in high school- now I marvel how it got past the mediocritizers-

I listened to some Blue Nile earlier
Can't think of another band like them.

I really love that Naked Eyes album, takes me back to my teen years.

Love this band and this tune. Great bass line, and the little variation on the outro around 3:50 is delightful

Back when videos could be an art form-
Really like the groove and harmonized guitar solo too-

Another 80’s pop song, yes it’s unabashed pop but all could learn from this mastery of syncopation between the instrumental parts-

Finally found this mellow gem by Passport, via YouTube recommendation based on previous Passport plays-

Two things:
- Sean's voice, if you close your eyes you could swear it is John (Lennon).
- Look at Les' pedalboard... for Satan sake! hahahaha

Great music here.

So, I actually like this version- and really like Dee Murray's flourishes and counterpoints to Elton's vocals- Not to mention Johnstone's Univibe inflected arpeggios-

So in this song, Dee Murray's bass evokes a forlorn moan, in counterpoint to the vocals- this can be heard at 0:37-39 and 4:02-4:03-
