This is literally as funky as it gets. You can disagree... if you enjoy being wrong so much. ;)

Sweet. I've only seem them live once, and it was before they were famous. I had tickets to see Red Hot Chili Peppers on their Blood Sugar Sex Magick tour. The opening bands were supposed to be Smashing Pumpkins and Fishbone. Even Smashing Pumpkins were still kind of underground at this point, but I did have their CD. I was a huge Fishbone fan, and was disappointed to hear that they had been replaced on the bill by some unknown band called Pearl Jam. It was an arena show, and I had general admission floor tickets. The floor was nearly empty when they played, and I was able to stand right in front of the stage without being crowded at all. I remember liking them, but not necessarily being blown away. I honestly had no idea that they (and Smashing Pumpkins) would be such huge stars just a short time later.

Ain't No Mountain High Enough - Gaye/Terell version

A student wants to learn it. I have written some of it out. It amazes me just how much of Jamerson style is part of our vocabulary.

Gail Ann is amazing. Saw her live with Bowie several times. Love her work on his albums.

Nick Seymour plays some left field but incredible bass lines on Crowded House albums. Great concert that, You Am I, Powderfinger, Custard.

Nick's brother was the frontman for Hunters and Collecters

Crowded House cover their tune "throw your arms" which is a great ballad.
