got a few straps that i like to swap around. so it gets tiring to constanlly remove the strap end of the straplocks adn the availability of the wick straploks here is like non-existence.

can any other straplocks work wth the wick straplokcs? pls advice ;p its driving me nuts!! me nuts

I think one of the only other ones that is similar to the Warwick locks is the Dunlop ones. But the Warwick locks are a little thicker so they are not compatible. Other than that I don't know.

I would say talk to the music store close to you and tell them youtr story to buy several sets (in order to get a discount) of Dunlops or other straplocks then replace them all for one type of straplocks. I have regular Warwick Straplocks and Dunlop recessed ones and it is a hassle sometimes too but both are great and I trust them with my basses

good luck

I got peavey straplocks from my local music store to work with my '92 SSII. They work like a charm, and the gold color matches. But yeah, I would take the bass to the store. I know my local guys didn't have a problem with me popping them open to try them.
