Hey guys, is the Warwick online store the only place you can buy parts for Warwick basses? It had all of the prices in euro's and not us USD, so I wasn't sure if there was another site for USA purchases. Thanks,

Tim

Shipping can get pretty expensive if you order parts from the Wick store. You're probably better off contacting Hanser Music. I'm sure Flo would be happy to give you the phone number or e-mail address of someone.....

EDIT: I found some contact info.

yeah, shipping direct from Warwick is like 80 bucks...even if you buy a single tuner or something!

I called them, but I do not have the part number handy.

Does anyone know the part number for a JANIII for a LEFTY Warwick Thumb 5BO? Not the brass one, just the metal/plastic one. I could do some digging around, but I figured a few of you probably have it memorized. lol Thanks,

Tim

I have no idea about the part number... Do they have the brass JAN III's yet? I need to get one.

You'll find the part number on the wick shop, afraid the only one i know is for the passive preamps lol.

And i don't think there is a specific 'left hand' one, just the standard one that you can put on upside down ;)

It looks like they do make a lefty version of the JANIII and I think I need the one with part # SP W 30245 III TLH, which is 45mm. The 47mm I am guessing is for the broadneck's. Hope this is the right one...

Tim

ArtNr.: SP W 30245 III TLH is the right one for you Tim.
You want 45mm.

Thanks Greg! It was about $55.00 with shipping... if anyone is curious and I should have it in about 2-3 days.

Tim

Mhhh... you had to tell the hanser guys the part number?
Isn't this like... THEIR job to know stuff like that?

Don't even start on getting parts in America! I wish we could buy from Warwick store... with reasonable shipping rates.

thats a rough price for such a small thing, but its better then paying close to a hundred bucks in shipping

Just a quick update for the USA guys that might order parts from Hanser in the future. I ordered it Friday afternoon and it went out first thing Monday and I received it yesterday and installed it with no problems. They have good customer service and are very friendly. It kind of irked me when I had to look up the part number, but at least I can do the research to find out which one I need and have me screw it up versus them screw it up. That part wasn't a big deal to me. Anyhow, just thought I would let you know how it went incase you were thinking about ordering something from them in the future.
