im still really puzzled on why people post videos of themselves covering songs on youtube.. i might sound like a boring winge bag but i dont see the point.. iv been told that its so other people can watch them and csn see where to play the songs if they cant figure it out by ear but 98% of the ones i have seen are all played badly wrong.. very painfull to watch, and players recording themselves slapping and soloing with no (harmonic/melodic/timing) understanding and just playing as fast as they can.. am i the only person that thinks this?? or shud i just shut up

Indeed,

sometimes I do wonder why on earth someone posted certain stuff of themselves, but I guess it's the freedom that people have in posting stuff that makes youtube great. I often enjoy watching people play stuff on youtube; I get to hear how their gear sounds, and I get to see the style of playing which you can't see in the tabs. And hey, you should definitely not shut up, there are plenty of people thinking the same thing. :wink:

Oh yeah, he's good, and not just slap, he's been around. He used to play Warwicks! Not sure if he still does.
 
He has his own Cort Signature Bass (with integrated funky wah).
Is pretty fun to play, but not my style, though.

And not really a Warwick, but this guy made me happy. Somehow.
