Warwick on Twitter / Facebook etc?

Do you think its a good idea to put up an official Warwick community on Facebook and more importantly, if we can have a Warwick Twitter ID? So we can have the world follow updates that are happening on the Warwick Front?

One potential use for this I see is that everytime a new forum topic is posted (or atleast for the useful / interesting topics) a twitter update can be made which can get people to come to the forum and check it?

I volunteer to help set up and run it if you guys think its a good idea :)
 
There's quite a number of us already on facebook, I must have 10-15 friends from this forum on there... And as far as I recall there's a number of Warwick groups already, no?
 
Jan - I agree with what you are saying, but the group there is not in sync with what is happening on the forum! there is so much activity here but nothing happening in that group. Maybe we could put the two in sync somehow and direct people from there to the forums?

Also, I was keener on twitter because its an easy way for me to receive updates about things I am interested in. what say?
 
Good Idea, so please tell me when it is done, maybe it is time to register on facebook :-)
 
A real Warwick group on Facebook would be schweet! I don't know much about Twitter, but I'm sure that would be schweet too.
 
An "official" facebook profile in sync with this forum would be awesome.
