Hey, Guys,

DBG is attempting to clear out some "new old stock" basses. They've got about 70 basses on their shelves that are 2006 or older. These basses will be sold as new, full warranty, etc., but DBG is blowing out the prices to encourage them out the door. So now's a good time to pickup a Warwick for really cheap.

I'm prohibited from detailing exactly which models they have on sale, but let's just say that it's not your Corvette Standards and Corvette $$s. It's either the stranger models or the pricier models, both of which don't move as quickly/frequently.

I have a complete list of the basses and their prices, so I can respond immediately to inquiries. The prices are really sick, especially in light of the two recent US price increases. PM me if you've got a model you're itching for, and I'll let you know if they have it and what price I can do.

I can't imagine a time when you could get a better deal on a new Warwick, other than if you find a dealer going out of business. Blowout is NOT too strong a term to use.

FYI - I meant to mention that every US Warwick dealer will have this same information, and I do encourage you to ask your local dealer for a quote, too.

There are no minimum pricing guidlines on these basses (dealers can mark up however much or little they prefer). Personally, I lean to the small markup side of things in these situations, so this should be a wild ride :)

I'm headed home for the evening... I've already received a bunch of inquiries (all answered so far), so I'm sure more will roll in this evening. I'l try to answer some more tonight, but it may be tomorrow before I respond.

Eberlachl - PM me!! Seriously, I've been fielding that very question ALL night long. I get a kick out of it. I'll probably only sell 1-2 basses as a result of this, but those 1-2 guys/gals are going to get an insanely good deal.

I should also probably mention that some of these basses stayed on the shelves all this time for a reason. Sometimes it's just an unpopular or very expensive model, sometimes it's a minor cosmetic flaw. I've seen some of the basses (Streamer Stage what?) that look fabulous and sat because of their price, and I've seen some other basses that don't feature the prettiest wood ever seen.

If I get to the point with ANYONE that they're seriously interested in a bass, Step 1 will be to get a picture of the bass from DBG so we all know exactly what we're dealing with.

On the other hand, I'm not going to make DBG jump through a million hoops for me just to satisfy anybody's idle curiousity. Please don't ask for pictures of random basses. If you're 95% sure you want a bass based on the price I quote, then I'll definitely ask them to snap a pic before we get to the payment phase of the game. But we won't be taking pics on a whim...

I hope that doesn't come off as a downer... this has been really fun so far tonight, I'm sure tomorrow will be more of the same!

Oh, yeah, I definitely don't want anyone to hurt themselves trying to take advantage of a good deal. The salesman in me would like to call this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity... but the realist in me knows it'll probably happen again 2-3 years from now :)

I also really appreciate folks refraining from posting any of the quotes that I have provided through PMs. Feel free to share those quotes with others via PM or email, but please do not post them publicly. DBG entrusted me with this info with the understanding that I would not broadcast it to the world, and I have now entrusted you.

I went ahead and bit on 2 SS1 5-strings. I'm a sucker for a good deal! The Turquise one has probably been sold (although the buyer is waffling a bit)... so for now the only one I'm making available is Honey Violin. $3199 shipped for free in the US.

I don't have the money after buying a sweet Dolphin off of CeeJ, but listen folks - that is one of the most exquisite and gorgeous SSIs I've ever seen! :shock: I love that Honey Violin finish and AAA flame! :D

Like I said, it's probably sold... but if the guy backs out, it'll be up for grabs, too. I requested a black hardware swap on this one, and I think that turned out REALLY nicely.

These are the first two SS1s I've ever played, and my gosh they're nice!! I'm so used to the tighter string spacing on my Thumb NT 5, these took some getting used to... but, man, for slap they are IT.
 
I LOVE mine, I suggest a SSI for ANYONE... BN is the way to go in my book.

Not at all, although many of the basses are now gone. What are you looking for? I'll PM you a quote if they still have something...

And yes, we do ship overseas regularly. Depending on your country's postal service shipping size restrictions, I may or may not be able to use USPS. USPS runs about $125, while UPS and FedEx run more like $250.
