Hullo,I've opened this topic for 2 reasons:
1.I want to buy Warwick Dark Lord. What I need first is all information I can get-wiring,weight,length,schemes,everything I can get 'cause I don't want to be unready if I have any problems with guitar(you don't know me,I will have problems...)
2.My friend wants to make Dark Lord and I believe that he can do it,but he also needs schemes for wiring, informations about the thickness and the sort of wood that's used to make Dark Lord...

1.I hope my friend will succeed in this, but I will go with buying... :)
2.Does anyone know is there any Dark Lords in Serbia,or at least what's the price in dollars or euros?
3.How complex is the wiring on DL and are there any schemes on the net about that?

Hi someone & welcome.
The Dark Lord is a patented design,so it would be illegal for your friend to copy it.
Unfortunatly there's no Warwick dealer in Serbia or Montenegro but you can contact the distributor who will be able to help you out.

It would only be illegal to copy it if he tried to make money off of it or pass it off as original. He is allowed to copy it as a personal enthusiast. Kinda like a writer is allowed to make fan fiction on Star Trek in the comfort of her own home.

I would love a Dark Lord in a five string. Good luck!

Oh,shit!Nowhere in Belgrade?....I'll go check stores today, maybe I'll find some info or something like that....Oh,my friend isn't going to sell it after he makes it,he just wants to play it

anyway,thanks guys

The Sebian distributor.

i got mine on ebay... and its a good bass for a first warwick...

dont forget that it kicks a lot of metal a** tuned in standard too

Just a small tip to topic creator:
Asking for blueprints for making a copy of a bass on the official forum might not be the smartest thing to do...

EDIT:
Whoops, you beat me to the finish Greg...

I also don't really understand why you are asking all of this if you can find it on the website...

You just press there on Options and Resources. Pretty much all one should know is on there.

Now if you where asking how the bass plays and our thoughts about it then fine, but making a thread for getting information on how to copy (build) this bass is not wise...

You could buy the Dark Lord over the web and have it sent to Serbia, I don't think that should be a problem.

Try
Or contact the guys from

I'm pretty shure all of them could get it and send it to you.

+1 on buying it and get it shipped to you.... also even if he is a professsional luthier... will not sound like a Warwick due to the way they are built and the quality woods they use.

the elecs will not be cheap either and without the original specs it will sound Cheeesy IMHO ...! just get the real thing or at least a Rockbass Vampyre and upgrade the neck with a Warwick neck you might find on ebay (there are none most of the time but they pop out there from time to time).
