Ok so i've been amp shopping for a while now. I have my eden WT800 head and need some cabs for it.

So far i was thinking of 2 combination (all warwick neo cabs):

1) two 112's
2) a single 411

So i like the idea of having 2 smaller cabs for portability + i can run my eden in stereo or put 2 together for a huge rig. I really like the sound of 2x12's nice full smooth tone where a 4x10 was a bit rougher on the highs. Both setups are about the same price but I wonder if having 2 112's would work, or if i should stick to a traditional 4x10 setup although lacking stereo options.

Thing is i like the full range speakers due to needing it for some of the funny effects i run, including some keyboard type stuff and a drum machine as well. Would Warwick cabs preform well in this area?
 
Sorry - can't comment on the Neo cabs.

My WCA211 Pro cabs sure are nice though.

I recommend you to try them before. Neo cabs have a different sound and it is possible that you will not like it...
Anyway, I'd combine the 112 or 411 with the 115. I don't think they were made to work alone, they don't have enough low end.

All the neo cabs i've heard i've really liked the tone...i'll be testing them in a week or two when i pick up my amp from being serviced.

Actually a 12" + 15" combo could be interesting. I guess everything will be in the testing. Cheers for the advice flo.

I guess i probably should have asked what peoples experiences are like with these cabs, such as volume, projection of sound general preformance, and what combinations people have used them in!
 
Do a search on the neo cabs, plenty of posts about them.

I love the 411 with the 115, cant beat it IMHO.

They are louder than regular cabs, and you hear them better on stage, this is for sure. If you like the NEO sound, than go for it :-)
 
ok so i had a chance to try a 4x10 and a 1x15 neo. Along with some aguilar and some epifani cabs.

Really like the tone all the cabs i tried had, but i'm putting that down to the eden WT800.

In testing order i tried a aguilar GS112, a pair of GS112 in stereo. Epifani PS112, PS210 and warwick NEO 410 & 115.

All great cabs, the aguilar was a more traditional sound smooth quite brittle highs little mid scooped due to not being a neo speaker i guess. Epifani had a great punchy low mid and bass response on both cabs with harsh, but surprisingly nice highs. The 112 not as loud as the 2x10 and the 210 had a little more bass, but the 112 had a smoother response over all i thought.

The warwicks were very good too similar to the epifani but little less highs and more mids. Still need to try some neo112's though. But was really impressed with them.

Atm i'm leaning more to wards epifani as the treble was really nice and they are really reasonable. But warwicks are seriously tempting as well gonna need to sleep on this. + i still need to try the 1x12 NEO's before a can fully choose.

haha yeh np cab/ amp reviews are always helpful to people and in writting the entries helps to better reflect on my choice.

i just noticed some schroeder cabs which look interesting and the have some videos + sound clips... will be checking these out next time i get a chance and hopefully the warwick NEO 112's.
 
I think i finally decided!

Right so i changed the criteria. As everything pretty much sounded the same with my eden WT800 (to my ears at least) and all where in a similar price range i've gone for the biggest bang for my buck idea.

So i've settled on a pair Warwick 211's they have best bang to buck imo. 300 watts and 99SPL and a 210 is always gonna be louder than a 112.

I came to accept that i'll lose some low end with them, but pairing cabs seem to generate more low end anyway and with 2 i can run my Eden in stereo!

Anyway i'm gonna be putting an order in soon for one of them and get the second when i'm at uni if i need it.
