I only bought this recently but realize that 5 strings is not for me so I have bought a Fortress One from 1993 instead. More details and pics to follow.

Updated information

Hey, yes sorry. Had a bit of a nightmare trying to post pics haha. Here you go...hopefully. IMG_0306.jpgIMG_0307.jpgIMG_0308.jpgIMG_0300.jpgIMG_0301.jpgIMG_0302.jpgIMG_0309.jpgIMG_0310.jpgIMG_0311.jpgIMG_0312.jpgIMG_0313.jpg

This is in great condition and plays and sounds great. I'm looking for around £1300 GBP but I am open to offers, will consider trades for 4-string plus cash (or straight depending on bass). Just give me a shout if further information is required.

Cheers.

Well, there are three chicken, one owl and one buzzard.
Sooo glad it's not broadneck. :-)
For those Grumpy kinds that are saying it's not a twin-P, you can rout the body and install EMG's p-40X in there.

That is just fantastic. A couple of questions, if I may: 1) How much does it weigh? 2) How's the balance/neck dive?

I'm pretty sure it's heavy (I have a 4-strings BO). But the balance is actually great. If you like to wear your bass high, your arm rests on the wing. Really, surprisingly, comfy to play.

Hi, the bass is circa 4.8kg so it is quite heavy however from a neck dive perspective...there isn't any. It's very well balanced and is great to play.

Thanks VIII...it is very comfy to play indeed though I've never tried a sheep on the wing - maybe Pigs on the Wing? Ok...it's early here!!

Hello? What is the nature of the response: "Zombie Alert?"

I do not understand your response;

I have never received such a response to a professional query.

I am a professional bassist in the market for a pre-owned Buzzard bass, period.

I thought I was responding to a 5-string Warwick Buzzard listed FOR SALE here. Am I on the correct listing / forum?

Chill tone, he is just having some fun ;) he means the for sale thread is over a year old now so its likely it has passed. But maybe not, best to start a convo with the seller direct. Although seems there hasent been any activity since 2016 from their account . Welcome to the forum!

Thank you! Hey no worries its purely lack of sleep from studioitis. Lol, I'll try the diect approach next. Thx YOU ROCK!

Good luck and keep an eye out on the "heads up thread" if we see someting special at a good price we share it there. I think a few buzzards have been posted there recently

Will do, thank you DemBone7. I'm experiencing Murphy's Law to a "T".

Of course, when I discovered these Dragon Wing/Buzzard and later the Dolphin Pro 1 NT5's I noticed 'em because they were like all over the place, or so it seemed and I didn't have the money. Now I can buy one on the spot, except they've all turned invisible.

I mean there is ONE brand new 2003 Limited Black JE for sale that would be one of my ideal desired models hanging on a wall in a shop in Austria, again still brand new and drop dead gorgeous but with the current exchange rate I would need to spend $8032 +/- USD including shipping. Ouch.

Considering the price that the same one will cost when somebody decides to sell their pre-owned Buzzard would be like what, 1/2 that maximum?

The last Alembic Dragon Wing sold used about a year ago for "only" $7k. According to Warwick, they will build me a brand new one with front and side LED's and an ebony fingerboard for like $9k usd net.

I just have to let it all go, focus elsewhere for a bit and just keep an eye out. One will come up and now I am ready to pull the trigger on the right one immediately. It's just kinda painful to know it's like out there I want it now, and it's all about enjoying the journey right? Thanks again...

YOU ROCK!

Be patient :) they do show up and we will let you know ! Good luck
