Jonas is the man! What's that little thing just below the g-string on the body?! And why isn't this bass available fretless (and half price :D)?
 
I think that's a finger rest Kris.He normally has them top & bottom.Did ya notice the red LED's on his bass? 8)
 
No I didn't... awesome! Is it me or does his pickup look slightly different from the retail version? And how does one use a finger rest below the strings?! A lot of the old Fenders and Gibson had slanted finger rests down there, but I never got the point
 
The bottom rest is for thumb playing mate.Ya hold the rest with your first 3 fingers & hit the strings with your thumb.I've had them fitted to Fenders I've owned but never used them.

Selvaganesh is the craziest percussionist!! I saw these two and Shawn lane back in 2000. Mind blowing stuff off the Good People in Times of Evil record. I've seen a video with Trilok Gurtu and Hellborg that is amazing too.
 
Seth's videos are killer, as always. Awesome voice + outstanding bass playing = candy to my ears (and eyes).
 
Ya know Ian,the Seth DVD is gonna be available for pre-order very soon.Put your name on his mailing list to be kept up to date with all things Seth.It's gonna be a good DVD,from early in his career to the present day with footage from all his albums etc.I cant wait. :D
 
Now that's something I got to get !
