Hi again , Thanks a lot for helping.
I have ordered this :
CryBaby Bass
DOD FX25B Envelop filter
Boss OC-3 Octaver
Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus - for the fretless
All this will connect to a Lehle D.Loop Looper/ Switcher who has 2 fx loops switches one for this fx & one for the DBX 160A compressor +has an amp buffer that boost the sound up to 12db for solos or special moments
I'll build a special box for it to go in with power suply.
All that will go to Eden WT-550 amp with 210XLT cabinets.
I feel peace about it , but anyway I have 30 days to test it.

sry for bringing up an old post. but i feel that digital multi-efx will kill that oh-so-coveted WARWICK sound. you all know what i mean, the growl, the punch.
i've also used a Line6 BOD XT for a recording session. it totally killed the growl and the natural mids. boosting the mids on the eq sounded way too artificial.
perhaps multi-efx will sound good with other lesser basses.
but then again, I've heard of Stu Hamm using a KORG multi-efx on his Bx3 tour?

Yeah , I totaly agree with You .
In my case the Digital effex like BassPodXtPro totaly kiled my sound , I think it is good for cheap basses but not for Warwick or boutique basses & for sure if You have a good amp You dont need it as a simulation.
I have an Eden amp & now I bought a Phil Jones amp & the simulation of the Eden in the Pod is nothing to do with the real thing....beleive me If the simulations were like the real thing but 1/4 price , why to buy the real thing .....-)
After trying some effects for bass , in the end I have returned everything back , I prefer to play the pure bass sound , just with a compressor for slap I can use chorus for fretless from time to time & Envelop filter or wah if i want , but 99% of the time I'll play just pure bass. I dont want all this effects to color my sound

same here dude! i just run my bass through a hartke bass attack preamp/DI if i'm running through crap amps.
but i'd probably need a good overdrive, compressors and a nice lush chorus pedal. anybody care to recommend some?
compressors-wise, i've heard stuff about MXR supercomps/dynacomps working well with Fenders and the like, but doesnt do justice to active basses. in this poor fella's case, he was using a 5 string Cort with Bartolinis.
i've also heard good things about modded BOSS CS-3s and BBE optostomps. perhaps someone who used these pedals around here might help?

For Compressor I'll recommand You a DBX160A , I have one & it is the best compressor for bass I ever used & it sounds just great with the Warwicks I have!!!
It is a rack one & it is not cheap like pedals , but the SOUND is amazing .
