I almost cried when I saw the crack in that bass. The bass went back for a refin (on that part only)... by the time it arrived back in NYC the crack had reappeared.

Nope I didn't drop it.

I was on tour, and the bass was being shuffled about quite a bit (airplanes, vans, etc). It was in a flight case.

I suspect that someone dropped something on the case, applying pressure to the control knobs and thus causing the bass to crack... I mean, the crack is along the bass's weakest point (the control cavity).

When there is ONE bass that you really want, and it has a crack in it that's totally beyond repair then I think it's justified to replace it!

why would you wanna sell a beauty like that anyway, i mean (from what ive seen and how weve talked) those two basses carry your personality in them, i mean those basses seem to carry a peice of you in them.
