w00t!!! Coming my way is a brand new....

Ok, I didnt want to share where I got the bass from until I made sure my deposit was secure, but it was bass central. Beaver is a great guy, so much help and gave me a killer deal on it.

I dealt with Grasshopper over there. Another good guy.

Grasshoper is originally from a few towns over from me. I talked to him o the phone the other day regarding my order and future limited editions, and we got to chatting about sports and such briefly, lol.

my bass shold be here FRIDAY :D :D :D :D :D

Sweeeeet,the Hotrod's a cool bass.You know what we all want BA2,pics bro,pics.

ok, so I snuck it away from the clutches of my parents for an hour. As always, the setup was perfect from the get-go, as opposed to most ot her companies basses I have owned and stil own *cough* EBMM *cough*, and I was so excited to play it, I didnt snap any pics!!!!

Those soapbars picks up absolutely THUMP. I am just flat out blown away. I cant explain the awesomeness. Maybe if I figure out how to get my friedns ghetto recording gear setup, i wil record some stuff I wrote for you guys.
I think I like this over both of my Thumb basses COMBINED. I wanted to make my next bass a custom shop Thumb, but it might have to be a Corvette instead...similar setup, some extra goodies and humbuckers like the $$. I could drool over that thought all day long. :) :)

last time i was in Orlando i stopped by Bass Central and was very impressed with the service and the store. i think i would enjoy doing business with them.

ok, here it is people :)

I must say, I expected it to be a lot lighter in color. My Bleached Blonde Thumb is much MUCH lighter and is almost a cream color, whereas this is much more yellowish. can anyone help with explaining that? I read the limited editinos page and it seems to be the same wood in both.....but without further a-do:

maybe this link works better?

he he he... I played that bass a few weeks back when I was in Orlando at BC, maybe a few days before you bought it. VERY NICE CATCH!!!!! ~M~

I thought it felt USED :P

I love this thing. It hands down is my favorite Warwick, even over my flagship go to bass, the Thumb 5.

USED!?!?!! I just left a little groove in there for ya!!! 8) Seriously, if I hadn't been infatuated with the Streamette that day, I'd be talkin bout MY new Hot Rod  Great bass!! ~M~

there was a limited Corvette Standard with two split pickups at BC, and someone bought it about two hours before I asked to put a deposit down on it. WAS IT YOU!?!?!?!?!

oh and its ok, I was originally gonna ickup the 4 string Hot Rod, but got the go ahead for more cash :D

Limited Corvette Std...

Yes. That was me. Two hours, huh? Timing is everything...

You mean that one, right? ~M~

ack!!! it WAS you! LOL

Nice snag by the way!! I saw that on their website and called to inquire and told them I would call back in a day or so when I had decided what to do. they told me to put a deposit on it if I was even remotely thinking about it, lol. I call back a day later and Beaver was like "dude, it walked out the door JUST before you called!" He was great though, he practically gave me his inventory over the phone and thatt is when I had decided on the Hot Rod 5.
