Hi guys!

I have some experience to work with CATIA, so I gave it a try on doing a 3D model...

Please comment!

Thanks!

Looks pretty accurate man, nice work...

Taking mockups to a whole new level!

Wow pretty nice job! Looks like a Streamer standart or rockbass NT because of the flat body! wonder if you started from cero, or you took the basic desing from somewhere?

You got the colours wrong, man!! When have u ever seen a streamer with a red fingerboard?

Only kidding, I have no idea how to use these computer programmes so I'll go with the majority: Jolly good effort, sir!

It's very nice. You have wood samples in Catia so you can even implant thoose for different kind of body parts, and there is also database on internet to download it!

Thanks for the comments guys!

To answer to your questions...

I used some photos, contoured them using CATIA, and then scaled them to a proper size. After that it was modelling time! The neck and the position of the pickups and the bridge, these were all made to the proper size from scratch, using the specs from the different websites and forums.

It's supposed to be a Streamer Stage $$ 4 strings with soapbar pickups, with a wood pattern of the Streamer Stage 1... (hope i'm making some sense)

Oh and it is a curved body like the streamers are! it's just the perspective that makes it look flat.

As for the wood samples, can you tell what library is this you were talking about?

ok, and now the big finale...lol maybe one day i'll decide to build a bass! A real one!

See ya!

Thanks Florin!

Hey, maybe you could hook me up with a job at Warwick headquarters ;)

If they need someone to design and CNC program the models, let me know!

I would glady exchange my services, for let's say... a nice 6 string Streamer...

Anyways, thanks for your comments!
