VERY happy to be a new Warwick Owner

Hello from Los Angeles, CA- new to the Forum, and a new owner of a Warwick bass!!
I've been interested in Warwick basses for many years, but had not taken the plunge-
But now I am an ecstatic owner of a new Corvette $$, fretted 4-string, Nirvana black!
I can't tell you (well, you surely already know!) how incredibly well-built and great sounding the Warwick product is. This is truly a high-end custom-built quality bass guitar.
It feels amazing and sounds even better, All I needed to do was add my favorite XL- gauge strings and make the appropriate adjustments, and done!
The Corvette $$ is one of the finest instruments I've owned and played- It's my 5th bass guitar, and undoubtedly will be one of my most used.
I certainly can see the devotion and enthusiasm of Warwick Bass owner/players, and I'm really happy I made the decision to add one to my gear.
Thanks to all the people at Warwick for building such an outstanding instrument!

Thank you all much! Great to be part of an International Community like this one!! (Having a Warwick to play on isn't too hard to take either!)

Last night, I ran through our sets with one of my current projects-
A R&B-Blues based rhythm section, backing a Vocalist-
How did the $$ sound and lay in the mix???

(C'mon. y'all know the answer....)

INCREDIBLE!
What great presence, dynamics, and TONE!
I was really astounded... and I should add I own & play 4 other high-end
highly regarded basses too...
But the Warwick's combination package of Tonewoods and electronics...
Something else again!
You should have seen and heard my Drummer! Grinning from ear-to-ear
and really laying into it!
Altogether a great experience from a great bass!
Live gig Friday to really get the instrument "broken in"- I'm looking forward to it.

Once again- Good to be among other Warwick Owner/Players who know the joy, and MUCH THANKS to the builders at Warwick-
They REALLY know how to build a bass Guitar!

...and "Corvette" is also a pinball game!!

But most of all. I think that Warwick has re-defined the word CORVETTE to mean:

"A classic bass guitar design, available either fretted or fretless, 4- or 5-string, bolt-on or NT, passive or active, available in (2) standard PUP configurations, and in a large variety of builds from their Custom Shop.
(Have you SEEN some of those!!?? :twisted: )
The Warwick Corvette, like the namesake warship and sportscar,
ROCKS!"

This instrument keeps sounding better and better the more I get into it.
Tonight, I'm going to use it in performance and that should be big Fun!
 
Congrats! It's almost disturbing how many different sounds you can get out of that bass! And it's not just a lot of decent quality sounds, it's really high fidelity all across the board! :D
 
Yes, there's nothing like the first live gig on a Warwick.

(Come to think of it, mine was on the Corvette Standard Fretless 4, back around 2002.)
