V8 Thumb in the Mad World

There's my V8 Thumb in a Tears for Fears cover. Result of a overbored saturday afternoon, still needs some adjustments, but you can hear the Thumb.

Sounds good. What do you use to record. I'm just looking for something simple to record my ideas to so they are easier to remember

I used a Boss BR 1180, through a SansAmp bass DI. Something simple to record your ideas, with good quality, would be a Boss mini-BR: a four track recorder with effects and a drums track.

i am using the Line6 toneport with cubase le, it works great.

Ok I'll look into those. Some one I work with recommended Audacity software. It distorts like hell so thats no good to me.

Hey Mister Drews, I really like the way you've turned this boring 'Tears for Fears' song (that I always hated) into a steady rock tune ! Tight bass playing (V8!) and the Thumb sounds great !

Thank you Da-Vonk & Greg. Maybe I'll improve when I find a guitar player and a drummer. This one-man-band thing is not so good.
