ok, so i worked on my parents some more, i'll possibly be getting a WAV 4, i'll have to work over the summer, but i'm allowed to get it. YAY

Building an instrument is an incredible learning process, and if you do it right and with enough care it does have potential to yield pleasing results. Of course there are limitations, but if you are willing to work past those and really dedicate yourself to this pursuit, I am sure at least you will learn quite a lot.

Perhaps you should build an electric upright to start with? That would be much more feasible to a beginning luthier
