Hi, dont know if this is the right forum, im considering either a few modifications to my warwick infinity, or alternatively selling and as such ive posted it in the second hand gear forum.

With reguards to the modifications im considering upgrading the preamp, are there any anyone would recomend? im thinking the aguilar obp-3

Along with this im wondering is it possible to get a warwick pieze bridge from somewere and to install it in the infinity?

Also what options are available for pickupo tapping the existing pickups, like what is done to the twin j pickups in the new streamer LX LTD 2008

Finally does anyone else have any other suggestions with reguards to modifications and is there anyway to achieve a rickenbacker 4003 type sound from the bass?

Any help much apprciated
Sean

The Infinity NT series has a coil tap feature on the bridge twin jazz, pulling the treble knob.

Hope it helps :)

You want a rickenbacker sound from the infinity?
Punch yourself in the face
Sell the infinity
Punch yourself in the face again
Buy a rickenbacker 4003
Feel the burn.. :)

I honestly believe your Infinity is a WAY better choice than Rickenbacker...but that's just because I love Warwick.

Yea the knob was what I was going to suggest but TBS beat me to the punch

And don't forget to cherish the seething ache of remorse you'll feel when you plug in the Richenbacher and it doesn't even come close to the tonal range and character you got out of the Infinity. Oh yeah, then punch yourself in the face again!

(good one Benjamin)

I am a happy owner of two Infitnities NT basses. When I want a Rickenbakcer sound I use my Rickenbacker.

Stop it Paperbag, please, stop it or I'll choke with my breakfast :-)
No you don't!!!!

why do we always compare with over basses, especailly with the $$
