I must admit I haven't seen everything last night, but from wut I saw I think that Lionel Messi is gonna win da CL this year...:lol:

I didn't get to see any of the matches tonight due to a rehearsal. I won't be seeing Panathinaikos-Barcelona tomorrow for the same reason. Oh well...

since my club, Partizan, sucked the entire tournament (in contrast to their 2003/04 stint, where they impressed against teams like Real Madrid, Porto and OM), i pass on my focus to my 3rd favorite team, AS Roma (Bayer Leverkusen and Liverpool being on top). I hope they will be more consistent this year, as it was always Roma's problem, both domestically and internationally. 3-2 vs Bayern? very satisfying!
 
Roma is the team I am cheering for as well. I know they won't make it to the final or anything, but I have a special relationship with the team since I lived in Rome.
 
How long have you been staying in Rome, Sam?
 
beautiful city. i hope i get there once again. been there for 5 days.

Highly subjective, of course. There is just a certain charm, the winds of history sweeps over the city.

it's not that glamorous, it's not that clean..but it's full of life and GREAT people! i won't say much about the architecture (i'm a future architect), which the most charming, simple, and overall wonderful

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to visit Rome. But there are nice cities in Europe, like Prague, Vienna, Paris, (although I hate Paris)... and Edinburgh ! I love Edinburgh.

That's odd, I don't think they need that much push, they 're already doing pretty well. :)
