But Greg, if I may inquire about one of the qualities you mention about Australia...

...correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you guys invent VEGIMITE???

I've been warned about that stuff by just about everyone who knows I'm coming to visit...

It'll be ok mate,it's just this thick,black,gooey crap ya spread on your morning toast.It's full of vitamin b,put lead in ya pencil. :wink:

Vegemite is no longer Australian btw.It was bought by Kraft,an American company years ago.It's basically yeast extract,like Marmite but with an Aussie twist.It's the sort of thing you need to be "blooded" at birth to really appreciate.I've been eating it for breakfast my entire life & it hasnt hurt me,has it? :shock:
It also makes a great stock when mixed with water & added to stews,casseroles etc. :wink:

Bassically, if it dosnt say "organic" or "fairtrade" than its Kraft over here in america. Pity. I rember when i was five seeing the Kraft label on Vegemite... saddend me. Always loved it though, i bet it does make great stock.

Speaking of australia... anyone have those Aussie toothpicks that are soaked in tea tree oil? Cause i am so addicted...

I wonder if Thumbin's tried oiling his bass with Vegemite?

Once you've got over the initial stickiness, it could give a deep and wondrous lustre to the wood... and you could lick the bass if you got hungry while practicing! :wink:

It works with Marmite just as well as it does with Vegemite mate. :wink:

I love Tim K's bass tone... so powerful and driving...

I am hardcore Warwick lover, but I gotta tell ya this:

I don't ever wanna see Tim stop playing his Fender Jazz bass; they form a couple..............His bass lines are one thing, but indeed, the sound is another. Unbelievable trademark Fender Jazz sound.........love it. I gotta admit, a Fender Jazz is also in the wish list.............next to my arsenal of Warwicks of course. :wink:

I thought he played MM during the first record..............read in Bass Player only about his Jazz Bass.............This kind of complicates stuff..... :? Do you have any idea which songs are played with MM ?? I have no ear to recognise MM.................. :wink:
