Well it osunds like you have it all planned out. I too have a list of all the Wick CS basses i hope to build in the future.

I just got a 97 Thumb NT 5 and i'm just in heaven. There is no other bass to play. I'm going to sell the BO because I'll never play it again.
 
i think the pre '98 NTs look awesome with their bubinga wenge necks, kinda reminds me of a '69 camaro ss with racing stripes sounds just as good too:D
 
on a personal note...I have always wanted a Thumb NT 4 string (my production dream bass)...and I still do! One day.... :wink:
 
2000 Thumb NT4. The dream bass I never thought I could afford to own, but thanks to eBay, my dream came true!

And with 6 Warwicks now, the Thumb NT4 is still my favorite! :D
 
nice! I know I'll feel the same as soon as I get mine (one day, not too soon).

By the way Maddrakket, I checked out your bass gallery again...very nice, I like the specific-use section, awesome! :D
 
Mines a custom shop 97 NT5

curly bubinga, bass lines, inlays etc, never sell it!

88 nt5 used and the not voted 89 nt4 used too.

used to own a bo4 but then the nt4 arrived and i thougt i was in heaven till the nt5 came..... nt5 is simply the best warwick bass in my eyes!

So far, as I suspected, most Thumb owners have the BO 5.

The next most popular, of course, is the NT 4 (my personal favorite)

The NT 5 is a close third, no doubt most BO 5 owners switched up for the better sustain, brighter highs and slightly boomier lows. :wink: At least, thats what my Warwick forum reading tells me...

Isn't that the truth. Not getting any lighter for me either. lol
